CMA is an acronym for
Comparative Market Analysis. A CMA is a report that is prepared by
a real estate agent which compares your property to similar properties on the
market. Included in the report will be homes currently for sale through the
Multiple Listing Service (MLS) and possibly For Sale By Owner (FSBO) and homes
recently sold through the MLS and FSBO. A CMA is NOT an appraisal,
merely an estimate of value based on features and condition of your home
compared to other homes in your area.
